Better late than never to give the final update. We had our Halloween candy buyback on the Monday after Halloween, but the candy kept trickling in. We waited about a week to get a final tally and we ended up with 218 pounds of candy! That was significantly more than we thought we would get, so we were thrilled, as were all of the kids that were a little bit richer after selling us their candy. We shipped it all off to Operation Gratitude who then sent it overseas to benefit our troops.
We appreciate each of our sponsors, many of whom said they will be back with us again next year. We thank all of our patients for spreading the word to their friends and neighbors. Most importantly I want to thank our awesome team for all of their hard work and commitment to making our First Halloween Candy Buyback such a huge success.
